With recent research suggesting that those with obesity are at greater risk of serious complications if they contract Covid-19, there has never been a better time to motivate yourself to lose weight!

If you have tried dieting in the past and been unsuccessful at maintaining your weight loss it is easy to think that every time you try a new diet the pattern will repeat. The past attempts are stored in your subconscious so as soon as you start thinking about starting a diet there is that little voice telling you it won’t work; suggesting that what has happened before will happen again.

Previous disappointments and outcomes are hard to forget. So before you even start a new diet you are setting yourself up to fail.

Hypnotherapy is a different approach to losing weight. It will help you to change your lifestyle and the WAY you eat, so your eating habits become healthy ones.
You will still enjoy your food, but it will be healthier and more nutritious.

There isn’t a diet to follow rigidly, you don’t need to stop eating chocolate/crisps/chips forever, you just need to be more selective about when you eat them.

At your first appointment with Sheffield Hypnotherapy Works I will look at your reasons for overeating – for example: boredom/stress/loneliness – then we will work together to overcome these, to find other strategies so you no longer look to food to provide what you are missing.

I will use an effective combination of hypnotherapy and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) techniques, along with my extensive experience in health care and knowledge of nutrition, to work with you on a programme tailored to your needs and goals.

Losing weight, whatever method you use, takes commitment and discipline. Hypnotherapy is no different, but I will work with you, to uncover the reasons for your overeating and find the solutions for you to have a much healthier life.

You won’t be using hypnotherapy to ‘try’ to ‘lose’ weight, you will be using hypnotherapy to help you gain back the shape you want to be, to change habits and make life-long changes, to become fitter and more healthy.

Sessions are charged at an hourly rate of £70.
